Cait Kelley

Cait Kelley

Cait Kelley is an investigative intern with APM Reports. She has reported on congressional travel abroad, rail safety and corporate mobile home park ownership. Her work has appeared in The Seattle Times, The Washington Post and Politico. She graduated in May with a master's degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. During her studies, she and her team at the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism won the 2024 IRE award for large student investigation for the series Planes, Trains and Luxury Stays.

ICE agents are trained in CPR. They didn’t use it on Renee Macklin Good

Federal immigration agents waited three minutes to call 911 after one of their officers shot Renee Macklin Good in Minneapolis. After a brief medical assessment, they left her bleeding in her car. Agents didn’t give her CPR and turned away the help of a man who said he was a doctor.
